The magnificent Parc La Baie offers hiking trails and the Hot Air Balloon Festival (August 29 to September 2) as well as our magnificent marina where you can enjoy an appetizer at Rest ‘O’ Bord Le Pirate restaurant/caterer, or a more elaborate meal at Sterling.

The bike path, 5 minutes from the residence, runs along the Gatineau River where you can take a boat cruise, walk, visit souvenir shops and much more.

Also nearby you will find the Quai des Artistes which provide boat tours on the Outaouais River. We are located 5 minutes from the Gatineau Hospital which is convenient should you need a temporary place while a loved one is an in-patient.

On the other side of the bridge, you can visit the Museum of Civilization, play at the Casino du Lac Lemay, or see a show at the National Arts Centre. The historic Parliament and Ottawa buildings are breathtaking. The Byward Market and Rideau Centre are only a 10-minute drive away where you can enjoy a fulfilling shopping experience. This house is 12 minutes from Little Italy for wine and dine and 12 minutes from Chinatown if you wish to explore Asian culinary foods.
